The mark
One moment, above the surface.
The mark began as a humpback whale tail, folded in origami geometry. A breach lasts a second. So does a great frame.
- 01The planeThe tail as it breaks the water. Built from straight folds, no curves. Every edge is a decision, like every cut in an edit.
- 02The fanThe humpback's song, drawn as eight lines from one point. It carries far and fades into light, the way a film stays with you after it ends.
- 03The notchThe fold where the form splits. Take one piece away and the mark collapses. Nothing in the frame is there by accident.
- 04The horizonThe water line, in gold. The threshold between what is seen and what is beneath. Everything we produce lives on this line.
- 05The reflectionWhat stays below: the planning, the light, the hours behind a single shot. You see the surface. We make everything under it.
The tail does not ask permission to surface. Neither does the work.
